Con Art Film is small independent film production company, created by the writer/director, Laura Nasmyth. Having worked for many years as a production designer in TV and film, she moved into directing in 2015 and has since produced her own work, ranging from short experimental projects to narrative features.

She released her debut feature 8:30 in 2017, which after a successful participation at international Film Festivals, earning numerous awards for narrative and experimental fiction, received theatrical distribution in 2018 and was curated on MUBI in 2019.

She is a Film Independent Directing Lab and Berlinale Talents 2020 Fellow, currently based in Vienna (at) and Marseille (fr).
